Introducing.......

Master Beau Lachlan Excell

Once Beau realised I had almost started to get myself organised and started to think about giving birth sometime in the next 2 weeks, He wanted to put a spanner in the works and get out early, made for a bit of a dash around between contractions packing a bag for hospital!

Toby went to bed Monday night and woke to find Ma ma and Pa at his house and Mum's baby was out!

Toby has become a real man about the house just of late, amazing how quickly my first baby has grown!

With just a few weeks to go until but #2 arrives we finally got Toby moved into his new room

Painting time

It is finally time to get painting, firstly a base coat and then its on with the colour.......

36 weeks down 4 to go!

After listening to one daughter complain of not having any water because a pump wasn't working, the very next day Pa was over with a replacement pump to ease all my concerns.

Uncle Glen's 60th

With every major birthday the Altus clan get together to celebrate the milestone in style, good food, a few drinks and great company. Uncle Glen's 60th was no exception with many ales downed with some friends and family

 (and a good scattering of ankle biters!)

Then it was off for the kids in search of some snails - none were eaten (that we know of.....)

Thomas on the other hand may have consumed a great deal of dirt!

Back to Glen & Merri's for some cake and afternoon tea.

Lambing time

With each year we get to lambing time and although I start out optimistic that the ewes are doing a great job and looking after their young, inevitably we always wind up with a few orphans....

So the decision was made quite a while ago - before the impregnation of one said female, that the garage would be enclosed to create our 3rd bedroom/ office/ spare room. Now seeing as we have got less than 10 weeks to go until this baby is welcomed into the world, Steve has decided it might just be time to get a wriggle on........

It has taken a while but finally with a bit of help - thanks Pa, Matt & neighbour Shane, we have the walls covered. Now just to do the flushing, painting and floor.
