Meeting Father Christmas...

Every year Tatiara Seeds have a family friendly Christmas get together, and its a definite must for Father Christmas to make an appearance.
Last year Toby didnt notice the big man, but this year its a whole new thing.
Meeting a big fat bloke in a red suit for the first time was a big strange but the fact he gave Toby a present made it all ok!

Lauren (Rowett) showed us how its done

Then along went Toby

Check it out Mum!

Jake (Rowett) was pretty pumped with his parcel....

.....as was a tractor/ truck/ loader crazed boy!

Lauren reminding Father Christmas that she is in Kingston this year

Saying Goodbye
-Toby nearly ruined the illusion as he followed the forklift back to the shed!

Jake is set.
Bear -check, dummy -check, present -check.
Time for home.

Round 2 of Sydney visit

So we set off early one morning to catch our plane to Sydney for a fleeting, flying visit to see Alara for her very important 3rd birthday.
And really, truth be known, she needed someone to decorate her cake and do her hair especially for the day!

Birthday brekkie of flakes

A spot of golf before morning tea

The whole 'reason' we flew up - to decorate THE cake!

My 'helpers'
(we did seem to misplace a few smarties.....)

Morning tea at the park with Alara's friends

time for La's little cakes -decorated by the birthday girl herself!

Toby taking the birthday girl for a spin

In the afternoon we picked up Lucho from school and headed home for a play before Jill & Morgs came for tea.

'Alara' opening the presents......
I think Lucho had a big helping hand.....

The main event - CAKE!

I like to think of this as a symbol of appreciation!
Thanks for having us - we had a fantastic time,
see you again real soon! xx
