Boxing Day

Boxing Day we headed to Uncle Glen and Aunty Merri's place for lunch with the whole Altus clan. Being a bit hot and sticky, it was a perfect day for a dip in the backyard pool.

Alara woke to find a pool outside, a bit tentative at first

Spot the Difference

Here's a bit of a puzzler for you all.
Below are 2 photos of a pregnant lady at around 2 weeks until her due date
Can you spot the difference??

That's right!

The tree in the background has flowers!!!

Well Done! :)

Nana's 79th Birthday

On Friday it was Nana's 79th Birthday, unfortunately Nana is in hospital with a terrible wog and couldnt make it to the party so we took the party to her. With the room full to bursting point we belted out the birthday song waving our safe flame 'candles' in the breeze.

Afternoon at the Races

On Sunday we enjoyed an afternoon at the Bordertown Races. With our betting guide in hand we set off to try and make millionaires of ourselves - unfortunately we had to make do with the extra $3 we made for the day. Oh well it was very fun all the same!

Steve and the boys discussing which horse will win

Up close and personal with the horses

I reckon Cathy and Crawf have the best job for the day -

hooning around in the ambo behind the horses

(and ready for action if a jockey fell off)

Office complete

The office is now finally complete.
With the last finishing touches done in hanging the curtains, its time to move onto the last room of the house
-the dreaded spare room.

I have impressed myself with my own handiwork!

Fergus bonding with George

Fergus and I were having a lovely time just chillin' in the bean bag watching telly.

Stay at home mum

Having resigned from my previous job of looking after other people's children, its time for me to get ready to start my next job of Mum and look after my own child. The children and staff at Carol Murray Children's Centre were lovely to work with and they gave me a lovely send off for my last day.

Bounty of flowers and gifts I received
