New Kid on the block

As any growing family does when a little one is arriving, you upgrade. You buy a cot, pusher, car seat etc. And to be able to cart all this around you also need to upgrade your vehicle. Which is what we just did. Fortunately the car is fine, it'll be around for quite a few kids, the ute on the otherhand just wouldnt cut it, so we had to retire the white ute and upgraded a couple models to a sporty fast red one!

George on show

Week 20 has come and with it another all important scan, checking and measuring and making sure George is growing right and that it has the right amount of fingers, toes, heads etc.

Strike a pose George!

Starting to look more like a human and less like a jelly bean now. All fingers and toes accounted for, George didnt care much for all the prodding and decided to squirm around not allowing us to get a easy view at times. But with a little jiggle and squirm from Mum, we managed to get all the money shots.

Fleeting visit

Stephen was lucky enough to score a work trip to Brisbane and Toowoomba. Even though it was a very short trip, he still managed to drop in a see his favourite Toowoomba family!

Steve and his girl of the moment, Lexie, having some quality time and cuddles

"Yes Aunty Lou, Uncle Steve is here, Oh we're just chillin', catching up on whats been going on......you know, the usual..."

Ok everyone all together now- Cheesy Grin!!!

Cold Day at the Footy

In true winter spirit it was a cold and wet miserable day at the last home match played at Mundulla. So it was time to warm up in the clubrooms after netball with a nice cup of hot chips.

Fergus's 3rd Birthday

Having a week off of football and netball and also because it was Fergus's 3rd Birthday, we went on a family outing to the farm to do some jobs
Man of the day and his Dad sitting pretty in the tractor
'Here sheepy sheepy, tucker time!'
Nothing is safe when Steve has a chainsaw in hand!
Fergus and his mate - Dog.
(Uncle Rob Excell takes great pride and consideration when naming his dogs.)
Lunch time farm style.
Steve takes great pride in being a great fire starter - fits in perfectly with the Heinrich's!
(Note the tin of fuel)!!
'Yep honey, great fire, smoked sausages anyone?'
'5 fat sausages sizzling in the pan, sizzle, sizzle, sizzle and 1 went Bang!'

Last job for the outing, collecting straw for the chooks beds.
Should be cosy now.

A farm trip is never complete without going for a walk through the crop.
Steve and Dog are trying to locate the canola amongst the rogue barley,
it is there - honest!!
