Family Day

At the end of each Football Season, we have our Family Day at the Sport & Rec.

The Footy boys have their trophy presentations and all the families enjoy one last day together before we break over the summer months.

 This year we ended with two premierships, 

one football in Senior Colts

 and one Netball in A Grade -of which I was a part of - very exciting!!

It was a beautiful sunny day so after the trophies we all headed outside.... 

....for the annual kids running races!

Mitchell and Lexie visit

While Mitchell and Lexie were staying with Ma ma and Pa we were lucky to spend some time with them playing and having lots of fun and giggles.

When Uncle Steve came home from the farm he was quicky put to good use!

Puzzle Fun

After a bit of a rainy day, I went off to search for some inside fun. 

Finding our train puzzle was the highlight of Toby's week! 

This puzzle was completed over and over and over......

YAY! 

Birthday Month!!

August month was birthday month, we celebrated here, there and everywhere! A never ending supply of cake off cuts were always available in our fridge, much to Toby and Steve's delight!!

Once the older sisters came home from Kindy it was time for cake, 

poor Dylan no matter how close he sat next to Connor's sister Eliza, she just wouldn't share!!

The next week it was Ben's turn for a party, well by the looks of this it was a pyjama one too!

I think the grandparents look as excited as the grandies!!

Just another cake we made for our friend Kelly, who tried to go unnoticed, 

but we couldn't let that happen, could we?? :)

Helping celebrate a birthday is what we do best, so when Tom asked us to help him out on his first one we were there!

And when there is cake available, the children flock like moths to a flame, and when a candle is lit its on - first one to blow it out gets singhed eyebrows!

New Carpet

We have finally said goodbye to the long suffering carpet we had in the lounge, if that carpet could talk it would burp up plenty of scotch, coke, milo and a fair bit else!!
