After a long time of Toby pestering to help me cook tea, it came time to introduce him to the mixmaster and the joys of chocolate cake. With apron ready we set off on our culinary experience........

Easter Excell Style

Easter was upon us and since we are lambing at this time and couldnt go away, we decided to camp out with the sheep, and take out our tent for its maiden voyage.

All set and ready to go

After a long day of collecting, chopping, burning and general jobs around the farm,

and enjoying having Daniel, Nicole, Madeline & Bella over for tea,

It was nice to relax by the fire and amaze at the serenity......

Didnt take long and this is what happened!



We awoke to a bit of a chill and when we stuck out our heads from the tent

we found ourselves in the midst of some fog

Playdate with Jake

To give Kriena a bit of peace and quiet within her house we invited Jake over for a playdate with Toby. It was a great day with the boys playing beautifully and having a blast together all day.

With all the water still around we went for a ride in the dingy at Poocher Swamp, with only a few hiccups (with the motor) we set off for a leisurely ride

Summer & Hudson's Birthday

Saturday night we went to the Leach household to celebrate Summer and Hudson turning 3. Even though they are twins, it was Summer's actual day of birth and Hudson was the next but we celebrated all together.

Mundulla Show 2011

Back at the start of March we had the Mundulla Show, we had a great day with so much to see and do and beautiful weather to top it all off. This year Toby was much more interested with it all and wanted to see and do so many things, it was a big day for him and it tuckered him out for a day or so after as well!
