Dubbo Holiday

The time came at last to pack up the car and head northish towards Dubbo for the triennial stampede of the Heinrich's / Schefe's.

First stop was with cousin Hollie, Brian and Willa at Chiltern

Before embarking to our next destination of Murrumbateman with Vicki (unfortunately no photographic evidence of this stop), Hollie gave us a tour of their surrounds with a stop off at Woolshed Falls then onto Beechworth to check out their famous honey, bakery and amazing lolly shop!

With a dicky achilles and infant in hand, Beau and I stayed at the top of the falls while Steve, Toby, Hollie & Willa went on further.

Some lazy selfies were taken to stop me watching the chaos of Steve and Toby climbing near a waterfall..........
hold his hand, hold his hand, HOLD HIS HAND!! was going through my head.....

Back in the car again - silly photos to keep the natives amused.......

Finally at our Dubbo destination and our first night in could not be complete
without a story from Ma ma and a good nights rest ready for the Zoo!

Up early Saturday and off we went to the Western Plains Dubbo Zoo......
Fun for young and old!

Checking out the hippos

Saturday night saw us all together at a local pub/ restaurant for tea,
 celebrating Dad's 60th and Julz & Kara's 30th

Well the big day came and we all gathered around to celebrate 60 years of Dad living on this earth, he's done pretty well and we are all very proud of him and his achievements,
Happy Birthday Dad

It seemed to be the norm that Dad received a Cadburys Milktray on his birthday, so today was no exception. I have a photo very similar with Nathan and I gathered around Dad waiting to pounce on the said Milktray - now its our kids......

Mum excelled herself with a Collingwood cake

Dad having a talk about it all - he got to the point..........eventually ;)
