Finally it came the time to remove the two rusting tanks that have occupied the middle of our back lawn ever since the foundations were put down. And there was no better or fitting way to remove them but with a tractor!

Yes we did drink the water that came from this tank!

Boobie Biscuits

In Support of the fight against Breast Cancer, Netball SA held a 'Netball is Nothing but Pink' Day. Mundulla Netball Club got behind this great cause and in honour of the day I put my hand up to make gingerbread and vanilla biscuits to sell - and so the baking began...............

Each Pink Lady has her own set of boobies

The march of the Pink Lady Begins........

( this is just a snippet of what my kitchen looked like! any spare space was covered in little pink women!)

A finished pack

-take note that i made 200 packs in total = 600 biscuits

Needless to say I wont be making gingerbread people for a while!

And also we were encouraged to dress in our finest pink attire.

We all had a great day and supported a worthy cause raising $1300!

Jacqui & Ben

Jacqui and Ben came for a playdate while Helen went off to work with the big kids. Although it was a cold, wet and wintery day we did manage to get outside and do a few things - namely feed the lambs which was a highlight for Miss Jacqui.

Ben was chief overseer

Although she looks a bit puzzled here - Jacqui did really enjoy it!!

Thanks for a great day Jacqui & Ben! xx

Farm Work

With the ewes started lambing we are out the farm every day to check on the progress and to make sure everything is in order. Sometimes we have the job of bringing up some lambs when their own mothers have retired from the job.

'Here lambie lambie...'

'Are you all settled in?'

Checking the sheep with Dad is always fun.....

.....He lets me drive!

After a hard days work,
its always nice to show Mum how much I love her
awwwww

Wood Cut

As the weather get chilly down south- its time to start the fire, so a big pile of wood is in order. Off we went on a family excursion out the farm to chop some fire wood.
